How to reproduce your own template with Aitist

Updated: May 18, 2023

We understand that some of you would like Aitist to generate design based on an existing template and to reproduce in the future. We're excited to let you know that the Aitist team saw this demand and is working hard to offer this feature gradually.

At the current stage:

  • Manually feed: Aitist can memorize and reproduce a prototype template created in Figma. (Instruction is covered in this blog now)

What to expect in the near future:

  • Automatically feed: Aitist will learn and reproduce the template directly from an image (in jpeg, png format).

Tutorial for Manually Feed

Steps

  • Design your template

  • Make sure AItist can encode and decode your template

  • The template should be "flattened", no frame/group.

  • It's recommended to place the template at the x,y axis=0, so the "screenshot" of the template will be correct.

  • Upload your template

  • Do generation on your own template. We'll use the latest 2 templates you uploaded to our server to do generation.

- Currently we mix all users templates, so if two users are designing template together, they might find some template from other people. We'll fix this in the next week.

Note:

  1. We support common operations like font size, color; images etc.

  2. We don't support "highly-cutomized " operations like font effects, rotation etc.

  3. Template should be similar to user's prompt, otherwise the AI will "refuse" to generate corresponding results. Eg: we cannot do generation using [prompt] "football game on 5/12/2023" to a "name card" [template], because the information from [prompt] is not related to the [template]

  4. We'll keep update it in the coming weeks
